Signs and Symptoms of Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is a common condition that affects tens of millions of individuals in the United States. It is the most common cause of disability of people over 70 years of age.
Osteoarthritis is caused by loss of cartilage around the bone. Although this may happen to any joint, the current study is looking at a medication in patients with osteoarthritis in the hip or knee. Osteoarthritis is known to result in the diagnosed individual losing the ability to exercise and be active.
Symptoms of osteoarthritis include:
Pain in and around the Joint
Reduced range of motion
Excessive swelling in and around the joint
Stiffness in and around the joint.
